Goodbye mascara, hello lash extensions! Eyelash extensions are synthetic hairs that are bonded directly onto existing natural eyelashes. Each natural lash is isolated before the extension is applied, to ensure that the health of your natural eyelashes is maintained. There is a wide variety of lengths, curls and thicknesses to custom design a set of lashes for each client. Eyelash extensions will last roughly 3 weeks before a touch-up appointment is needed. Our natural lashes shed just like the rest of our body hair - so even though you take great care of your lashes and have amazing retention, there will still be a lot of grown out extensions that will need to be replaced to keep your lashes happy and healthy! I have more than 7 years of experience so you can trust that you are in good hands!

It is normal to shed 3-5 lashes per day, especially in the spring and fall. You may also find you’re experiencing a shed when you’re stressed, hormonal or on certain medications.
Please understand that I care about the health of your natural lashes, and will not help you achieve unrealistic expectations. Short, thin, and damaged lashes cannot handle long and full extensions. You need to keep the health of your eyelashes in mind. A big part of my job is to make sure I’m not causing any damage.
Lash artists work very hard to provide you with beautiful and healthy lashes - it is up to you to maintain them and keep them looking beautiful!
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Avoid water and steam for the first 24 hours.
- Try to avoid rubbing your eyes and do not pick or pull on your lashes.
- Don't dry lashes with a towel or hair dryer. Brush them and allow them to dry naturally.
- Do not wear mascara. There is oil in mascara and this breaks the bond of the extension and interferes with retention.
- Do not use makeup remover or creams that contain any type of oil.
- Brush your lashes with a clean mascara wand every day.
- Do not put your face too close to an open oven.
- Use lash cleanser or baby shampoo to clean your lashes at least every other day.
- Touch-up appointments are required every 2-3 weeks.
- If you wait too long to book your fill appointment, please let me know so I can book the proper amount of time for your service.
- Please come to your appointment with clean lashes and no eye makeup.

FAQ
Q: Do eyelash extensions ruin my natural eyelashes?
A: No, they should not! But they can. If they are poorly done, yes. But professionals like myself who are thorough and have proper isolation take the steps to make sure your natural lashes will remain happy and healthy!
Q: How often do I need a fill?
A: In order to maintain the look of your extensions and the health of your natural lashes, you will need a fill every 2-3 weeks, depending on the growth cycle of your natural lashes. It’s best to get a fill no later than 3 weeks after your last appointment. Lashes, like all the other hair on our body, grows. When lashes grow out, the extension grows with it. Your lash artist should be removing the lashes that have grown out and replacing them with new ones so there isn’t any added weight to your natural lashes. During the spring and fall, we lose more lashes due to our winter and summer coats shedding - just like dogs do! Schedule your fills accordingly.
Q: Should I arrive to my appointment early?
A: Most appointments are booked back to back. Arrive ON time. Please do not be late as this cuts into your appointment time. Anything over 10 minutes late will need to be rescheduled.
Q: Am I able to get a fill if I had work from a previous lash tech?
A: If the work is up to par with my own work, I am able to fill it. Poor work will result in a removal and a full set.
Q: If I’m missing lashes due to pulling or poor previous work, can I still get lashes?
A: Yes, you can – but please have realistic expectations. If you have gaps, I will do my best to bridge them, but I can only work on existing lashes. They can NOT be glued to your skin. I cannot create something out of nothing, so be prepared to not have your lashes as full as you may wish, but they’ll be back to normal soon!
